Ms. Yana had taught me art for about 3 years and having her as my teacher has definitely expanded myself as an artist. Before I took classes from her, my skills were very stagnant but once I switched to her classes, she pushed me harder and made me challenge myself more than I ever did before. One thing I appreciated about Ms. Yana’s teaching was that it was hands on yet she didn’t just finish my drawing for me, she allowed me to discover new techniques with her guidance which helped me to discover myself as an artist and create a personal look for my art. Taking classes for 7 years before her had made drawing feel like a chore but she revitalized my passion for art again and showed me how to make it fun. I am greatly appreciative of all the things she has taught me.
