I have been going to this printer for the past few years and today was the end of me giving them any business or referrals. I own a shop and them being local to me I decided to give them my business and support by getting my marketing materials printed there and referring all my entrepreneur friends to get their printing done there as well. Yesterday I walked in to ask if they can make a canopy, tablecloth, backdrop and an A frame for me for this Thursday ( 3 day notice) and Cristobol, the owner said that as long as I email everything by the end of that day he can do it. I asked him for the price and he said he will email me with the template. I received the email with the template in an hour time but no price. He called me if I received the email I said yes, thank you, but can you give me the prices for them? He responded by saying yes, send us your logo and images than I'll give you the prices. So following his direction I submitted everything and he never responded back with the price. The next morning(today) he called me asking if I could go in to work with the designer so that they don't email back and forth for revisions as the files are large also. Ok, I went in, and Val (Very nice young man working for Cristobol) designed everything I needed. I asked them again, how much will it cost for all this (since I didn't want them to send it to printing when I don't even know the price) and was told it'll be $1330, about 30% more than what it runs for at other places. I told the owner that it's to much and I wish he had given the prices before my time and Val's time was wasted, that's when he got an attitude and said No, he is giving the besst price (NOT TRUE)and that he can't and that I am not a good business woman since I wasted his time. LOL. Excuse me? as a good business woman I give my prices to my customers before i give them any service, as what's affordable for me is not the the case for others, and vice versa. I said Mr. Cristobol, you are at fault here because you have been asked for the price since the very first second, and for whatever reasons you have been delaying in giving the prices, now not only I can't do it, I feel terrible for wasting your designers time, and that's forgetting that i wasted hours of my day also. He turned around and went inside while I could hear him talk in the back. I told Marisol (a very nice customer service lady working for Cristobol) that I'm sorry, He put me on the spot and I need all these materials for tomorrow as we are participating at a street fair and now don't have anything I need and she apologized when I left. I called my husband the minute I walked out and he said you know what, don't stress over it, pay him the extra $400 and get it because we paid all the fees to be part of the street fair and need those materials. I called back to tell them go ahead and print it as I need it and Cristobol said No it's to late already I can't do it. I said Mr. Cristobol, it's 15 minutes past the second I left your shop, and had I stayed there for that 15 minutes you were not going to say it's to late, so please, just print it as because of your mistake not only am i going to pay $400 more but I also don't have any other choice as you put me on the spot. He refused to print it and that was his final answer. Now, this man is full of pride, unprofessional-ism and his ego is choking him up. I can'y believe not only he put me on the spot by asking way more than what it's worth but also ended up not printing when we decided to pay him extra as it was to late not to get it at that point. had he given us the price 2 days ago, if it was not reasonable for me I would have had time to go somewhere else. But no, he screwed us over and that now we don't have anything we need for the fair tomorrow. SHAME ON YOU CRISTOBOL. You have definitely lost my business and all referrals. I will make sure all my local enterpreneur friends know how shady and unprofessional you are. SHAME ON YOU! You don't even deserve the 1* given to you.
