I bought a NEW Samsung stackable washer/dryer unit from Home Depot, I actually bought the warranty as all reviews state these new units, all brands, are failure prone. Well, it failed at 8 months, Allstate Warranty insurance stated "not repairable" and processed the claim. I tried to find a repair shop for Chico, no one could work or look at this, and Mike had his guy out that afternoon and confirmed this unit is not worth fixing. They provided me a Stackable Frigidaire unit the next day, delivered and installed, and removed the broken Washer for trash and the Dryer to my Garage as I am out of country. Reasonable price and I have happy tenants once again. Thank you Mike and team for making this happen in a quick time frame to get the house at 100%. I will use you in the future if I have issues.

Don’t recommend, owner is out right rude. Ordered a part got the wrong one and while that was not Mike’s appliances fault but due to a GE error he still refused to return the part, even though it was the wrong part. He was incredibly abrasive about it to say the least. He said parts were not returnable, but didn’t mention that when I bought the part…. Shady. He was also impatient when I called to ask if the part was there initially and kept saying they would call me as soon it came in and then when it came in, they forgot to call.

Buyer beware, we bought a side by side refrigerator from them April 2021, the younger dark haired guy said Don't buy new! They don't last 5 years! We noticed the freezer part was thawing and then refreezing not 2 weeks after our purchase, we called them and the same guy told us thats what those refrigerators do. Could not get him to come out and take a look at it. That refrigerator lasted us 10 months. Nearly $600 down the drain. I called them to see if they take broken appliances to fix and resell, the guy said no, but bring it in and we can fix it for you! (He didn't know we were past customers) I tried to explain we had a refrigerator we bought from them, and he interrupted me and said he's with a customer and can't talk. Save yourself money, buy new with a warranty!

Mike is a stellar business owner. Thoughtful, honorable and reliable. My used washing machine purchased 4 yrs ago now has never needed a repair. I went with a reconditioned washer because of the new junk being sold these days. All of his appliances have an excellent warranty. My washer had a 90 days parts and labor at no cost. Followed by a one year warranty if a repair was needed, just parts, no labor cost. Who offers a warranty like that these days.. Returns all calls promptly, but usually catches the phone when I have called.

I read the reviews for Mikes Appliance before ever coming to purchase a used refrigerator. And I happily admit, im so GLAD I chose to follow my instinct to do business with them! We didn't have a lot of money due to covid for a large purchase at this time, but the gentleman who helped us didn't make us feel uncomfortable at all with this situation and immediately set to work finding the best quality refrigerator at the price we could afford. He was very jolly and pleasant to do business with. Our fridge came with a 90 day warranty and a were a little out of town, charged us only 50 dollars for delivery fee. When economy gets going a little, I expect to upgrade some other appliances at Mikes! They have a FABULOUS selection of pre-owned and newer appliances. And they don't jack you around. A company with that many great reviews is doing something right, so read the rest of them and head on over there. I promise you will not be disappointed!?

We've purchased 4 appliances now from Mike's Appliances. We made the decision to not purchase new appliances anymore, because the prices are so high. Choosing to do used and repaired. We found Mike to be honest, helpful, and very reasonable. Mike does the repairs and honors his work with a guarantee. He and his wife, Tiffany, are good to work with and great people. When we have a need for another appliance we will go back to Mike's Appliances.

Owner comes across bit pushy and impatient. He gouges a bit on price of the old used appliances. But I'm sure he figures he can ask more since he appears to have the market on used appliances in these here hills. Chico would probably be the closest alternative. Although, Mike does offer free delivery and set up. The owner tried to blame me for breaking one of his used dryers while I was checking it out. His prices should be a bit lower for the old used stuff, especially the banged up stuff. I purchased a washer and dryer same day and paid cash. My wash machine has never really rung out the clothes all the way in spin cycle and soap suds remain on clothes, so I am forced to send them thru rinse cycle twice. The dryer has a poor heating element so I need to dry for about 10 minutes longer than I normally would. Guess that's what you get when you buy old and used. Some are pretty beat up on the outside. They could use effort in the detailing and cosmetics department. TIP: If I had a chance to do it over, I would buy a new basic model set from Sears. They have sales on and off when they offer the basic set for about $500. An added warranty is reasonable too..
