Fairfield Inn & Suites Barstow - Barstow, California

On a whim we stopped at the last minute in Barstow. CA last night and strictly by chance picked the Fairfield Inn by Marriott. What a great hotel, from the cool modern architecture to the beautiful interior design. We were so happy to hear that they had food at the lobby bar since we were starving. What a treat to have a first rate burger and fries while watching one of their 4 TV sets. Every seat at the bar was taken and several tables were busy as well which seemed unusual for a Tuesday evening. Turns out this is the new local hangout and they were out in force. |The room was equally impressive especially with a good sized microwave and refrigerator waiting for use. The bathroom and shower were first class and so was the very large LG TV. Even though we were close to the Interstate the room was totally sound proof and we didn’t hear any noise from the adjoining rooms either. My ONLY complaint was that the entry light was inoperative. Before we left in the morning we hit the breakfast bar and again were highly impressed. We had a sumptuous breakfast of bacon and eggs along with delicious coffee. What a treat, easily the best breakfast I have ever had for free. Do yourself a favor and stay here if you’re ever in Barstow.

I was super-duper end of the road exhausted! Mandy at the desk: SUPER speedy check-in, SUPER sweet, and beautiful, welcoming smile to match. She was so kind, and a mug needed welcoming face, at the end of a long day of traveling.

Jose, Heather were wonderful assisting me with snacks and making me change at the desk. Perla (at Breakfast) was so nice to unlock the juice machine for me- I was a late riser- GRACIAS Perla!

Jorge, the young man cleaning was so professional and took pride in his work.

Great laundry facilities, EPIC gym, one of the best I’ve seen at any Fairfield Inns, cute pool, and big parking lot for over-sized vehicles. Spacious rooms as well, quiet, and VERY CLEAN!

Stayed here on a recent road trip down to Palm Springs and Joshua Tree (it's only an hour and a half from the park's main entrance).||I was a little worried about the bad reviews but curious to try an almost new property out. It's an unusual layout for a a Fairfield in that the lobby and check in is for both the Fakrfj and the Townepla Suites. There's also an unusually large lobby and a full bar and restaurant so it feels more like a hotel than a motel.||Our king suite was spacious and well laid out (pretty similar to all other newer Fairfields). Breakfast was better than usual with 3 different delicious salsas to go with the scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, jalapeno souffles and waffles.||The hotel backs onto the Mohave desert and has some nice views from the large outdoor patio which also had a fireplace, nice seating and barbecues to use. The pool wasn't large but was heated even in November.||Staff were super friendly as well.||There's EV parking in the lot but it's steep. In N Out is a 5 minute walk ||We were impressed and would definitely return

Amazing brand new hotel! Spent the night here and was impressed by the modern room and how clean and inviting everything was. Breakfast was also satisfying!
Staff were also friendly and professional! I look forward to staying again in the near future.

This hotel is Absolutely Beautiful the staff are very Friendly and helpful. The rooms are very spacious nice and clean. The pool was nice had plenty of guest towels . I had Breakfast that was very good plenty of great choices . Coffee Tea and water are available for guest through out the day. My 4 day stay was Absolutely great I will definitely will return. I just wanted to Acknowledge some of the great staff. Mario Neonna Mandy and Adrian and I didn’t get the others but the entire staff are very Helpful. Great Place to stay.

One of the best accommodations across our travel. Clean comfortable basically all good. Breakfast always the same - but this is general illness of American hotels. Many of evening eating possibilities to eat within walking distance. Note that this is kind of highway hotel.

This hotel is new—they mentioned they’ve only been open for 9 months. You can definitely tell, as everything looks fresh and nice. However, I did find a few small bits of trash under the bed while stretching.

The breakfast was great! 🙂

Stayed for just a night on the way to our next destination. We didn't have a reservation, but they got us in right away. Neonna at the front desk was incredibly friendly, always smiling and very helpful! Room was very nice and very reasonable price wise. Will definitely stay again when coming through Barstow!
